There’s nothing like a new workout playlist to get you moving at the gym. For me, knowing that I have a new playlist to listen to when I get to the gym is the ultimate motivation!
Personally, I like playlists that have a mix of throwback songs that make me happy and new songs that are upbeat. What kind of songs do you like to listen to when you workout?
When I’m running, I need music that has a steady beat that I can match my tempo to. Lately I’ve been doing a lot more weightlifting and a lot less running, so I just need my workout playlist to keep me entertained.
If you’re part of the Living Well Jumpstart, then you received 3 full body HIIT workouts from me to complete this week. When I do workouts like these, I need high energy, pop tunes to be on my workout playlist. When you’re doing high intensity interval training you’re trying to move really quickly, and keep your intensity up the entire time. Your music should motivate you to push your limits!
Spotify is my hero for creating the Daily Mix playlists. If you don’t have Spotify, I don’t know what you’re waiting for. It solves all my problems. So many of the songs I included on this workout playlist came from the release radar in Spotify.
