Women Crush Wednesday: How to Stay Motivated

Shares 0

We’ve all had those days where we don’t feel like sticking to our healthy lifestyle. You might feel like you don’t have the money for healthy food. Or you don’t have the time for a workout. Maybe you broke your foot and feel like there’s no print in trying to stick to a healthy routine anymore. The truth is, there will always be an excuse. To keep that pep in your step, I gathered some motivating women and asked them what they do to keep on pushing when their mental strength is lacking. ((#WCW anyone?!)) Check them out!

“When I am facing a set back like a budget or time constraints when it comes to cooking, I open up my favorite cookbooks for inspiration…When I find a recipe that fits, I go for it and use that as an opportunity to remind myself that I can still eat healthy and be active, even when I face set backs or it seems like the odds are against me.”

“It’s the days when the body aches, the desire is low, you feel tired and you feel weak…those are the days when champions train.”

“Be firm in your goals, but flexible in your methods.”  There aren’t a ton of exercises you can do to get your heart rate going that don’t involve your ankle, but I kept those goals in sight and started picking up spinning and indoor cycling.  A couple months ago, I even got certified to teach because I wanted to make something positive of my time off.”

“It was about no longer being the kind of person who takes what she can get, and finally becoming the person who creates exactly what she wants.”- Jen Sincero

Michelle D. @michelledavistiu

“Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.” – Earl Nightingale
