By now you all know that I love mate. It’s packed with more antioxidants than any other tea, but the main reason I love it is because it doesn’t give me the jitters like coffee sometimes does. Just because I don’t drink coffee on a daily basis doesn’t mean I want to skip out of the fall pumpkin spice trend! Enter this Maple Pumpkin Spice Mate Latte!

I didn’t just stop at the pumpkin spice with this drink. Instead, I added maple syrup, collagen powder, and MCT oil to make this morning caffeine a super-charged drink. Not only will you be sipping on fall, but you’ll be fueling your brain and providing nutrients for strong skin, hair and nails with this Maple Pumpkin Spice Mate Latte.

Now, to get that pretty foam on top you’ll need an immersion blender, foam wand or just a regular ol’ blender. For those of you who have none of the above, I have a life hack for you! Add your almond milk, and all other ingredients except mate, so a shaker bottle with one of those little mettle shakers. Then shake it up real good, and pour if over your mate. Your foam won’t be quite as fluffy, but it will still taste like a super tasty Maple Pumpkin Spice Mate Latte. I’ve done this when I don’t feel like doing a lot of dishes and it works wonders.

Ingredients
  • 4 oz almond milk
  • 1/4 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 tsp MCT oil optional
  • 1 scoop collagen powder optional
  • 4 oz freshly brewed mate
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients, except mate, to a pitcher, and blend together using an immersion blender. Another option would be to add ingredients to a large blender and mix.

  2. Pour mate into mug and top with the almond milk mixture.

  3. Top with extra pumpkin spice and enjoy!
