In case you couldn’t tell, I’m in full holiday mode. Cookies on Monday and now a super delicious, healthier spicy peanut butter fudge recipe for you all. The secret ingredient that really takes this fudge over the top is K-Mama Sauce. It’s a little spicy from cayenne pepper, but also a little bit sweet thanks for the sesame oil and brown sugar in the sauce. I honestly wasn’t sure if this fudge was going to work, but judging by how many times I find myself wandering to the freezer to snag a piece…it does.
You’ve got the richness from the peanut butter, along with a touch of sweet from the maple syrup, and finally just a little shot to your tastebuds at the end via the Korean hot sauce. You can order K-Mama Sauce here or search for a store near you that carries it! They’re in all 50 states 🙂
This healthier spicy peanut butter fudge comes together SO QUICKLY. Seriously all you have to do is blend all the ingredients together in your food processor, pour into a pan, and freeze. Then it’s just slice and eat. One bowl? Limited number of steps? You totally have time to whip this up and brig it to your next holiday party.
When you’re adding the K-Mama Sauce to your batter, make sure you measure carefully! I tested this three times and there is a very fine line between too little and too much hot sauce in this. Trust me, one extra tablespoon and you’re going to feel like you’re biting into solidified hot sauce. In a not good way. So just follow the instructions and you’ll be golden!
I hope you love this recipe as much as I do! I’m planning out content for 2018, so shoot me on message and let me know what you want to see! Until next time.
