With family on the east coast and a best friend on the west coast, I’ve been traveling a lot lately. Because of this, I’ve picked up some tips for efficient packing and essential stretches for travel. When I travel I want to pack clothes that can be worn for a variety of activities. From stretching to hiking, and going out to eat, I’m probably going to be wearing the same leggings with a different top. Recently I’ve fallen in love with prAna. They design clothing that looks good but is versatile enough for any lifestyle and any adventure. Which is perfect, because this way I can pack less clothes and leave more room for adventure necessities, like snacks and hiking boots, in my carry-on bag!

These Moto Leggings from prAna are soft, stretchy, and the perfect interchangeable legging to bring with you. When I first tried them on I thought that they would stretch out as the day went on. I was pleasantly surprised when they didn’t! Instead, they stayed snug, are a mid-rise (goodbye low-rise everything!), and have cute detailing along your thighs and calves. I don’t know about you, but when I travel I do A LOT of walking, and wearing jeans is less than ideal. These leggings are nice enough that you can wear them to happy hour without looking like you just came from a yoga class.

My top is the Deedra Sweater Tunic. I love that it’s longer the back, making it perfect to pair with the leggings. It’s also made from organic cotton and extremely soft. This sweater would be perfect for travel because you can layer it over a tank top or t-shirt if the temperature starts to drop or you enter a cooler building while wandering the city.

Now that we have the packing out of the way, let’s talk essential stretches for travel!After all of the sitting and walking, your legs are going to be tight and your back might hurt a little bit. You know that person who is sitting on the ground in the airport stretching? Or standing in line doing a calf stretch? That’s me! These essential stretches for travel prep me for all the adventures to come! For any stretches that I’ve shown on one side, make sure you complete them on both legs. Seems obvious, but just wanted to make sure I pointed that out 🙂
